The health and safety of everyone is the fair’s top priority and the fair continues to follow and monitor current guidance from the City of Allentown Health Bureau, state and federal.
At this time, here are our health and safety guidelines:
Current guidelines recommend all individuals age 2 and up wear a face mask indoors regardless of vaccination status.
Proof of vaccination will not be required for guests, staff or vendors. However, we strongly encourage all those who are eligible to be fully vaccinated.
Cleaning and sanitization measures will adhere to federal and state guidelines. Hand sanitizer will be provided at locations throughout the fairgrounds.
What if I am experiencing COVID-19 symptoms?
If within the 14 days before you attend the fair you have tested positive or presumptively positive for COVID-19, experienced any COVID-19 related symptoms or been in direct contact with or in the immediate vicinity of any person who is confirmed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19, we ask that you do not attend the fair.
It’s important to note:
All persons entering the Fairgrounds voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. In addition, by entering the Fairgrounds, you agree to abide by and comply with all current CDC, State and Local Health Department Guidelines related to COVID-19 and any variant and mitigations efforts with respect thereto as are, from time to time, amended and revised.
Weather/Show Postponement or Cancellation
All events are RAIN OR SHINE! In the unlikely event of a show postponement or cancellation due to the headliner's inability to perform, information will be provided regarding procedures as soon as it becomes available. Once the show starts, no weather-related interruption or abbreviation constitutes a postponement or cancellation. A special guest's inability to perform will not be considered a postponement or cancellation.
There are no refunds, exchanges or upgrades for any Grandstand show tickets. Reselling of tickets on the fairgrounds is strictly prohibited. Any person participating in this will be prosecuted.
Secondary Ticket Market
The Great Allentown fair uses bar code scanning for Grandstand ticket admissions. As a result, fans should be careful when purchasing tickets and make certain the seller is a Great Allentown Fair licensed ticketing agent.
TICKETMASTER is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of the Allentown Fair Box Office. If you purchase tickets from an unauthorized agent in the secondary ticket market (scalper, ticket broker, eBay, Stub Hub, Craigslist, etc.) you risk purchasing counterfeit or invalid tickets which may result in refusal of admission. The Allentown Fair is not responsible for any tickets purchased through any ticket broker.
Purchasing Concert Tickets on the Day of Show
Most FAIR shows have tickets still available day of show. Any questions regarding day of show status, call 610-433-7541 and select the BOX OFFICE option. Tickets may be purchased at the FAIR BOX OFFICE or TicketMaster.com until show time. For purchases online, it is recommended to select "Moblie Ticket" as the delivery option. Fairgoers purchasing tickets at the Fair Box Office must pay Fair admission.
WILL CALL window is located at the Main Box Office inside the Fairgrounds. For admission to the grounds patrons must show ID at any entrance gate. Will Call tickets are available on the DAY OF SHOW starting at 12 PM at the designated Will Call windows except on Opening Night on Wednesday, September 1 when Will Call opens at 4 PM. Patrons need to show ID to pick up tickets.
The Fair Box Office accepts cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Any other forms of payment including personal checks will not be accepted.
The Great Allentown Fair is committed to providing accessible seating opportunities to all patrons. For this reason, it provides the opportunity to purchase tickets for accessible seating through the same means and under the same terms and conditions as other tickets sold for all events. However, designated accessible seating is limited. It is advised, therefore, that requests for accessible seating be made in advance. Each accessible patron with a wheelchair/scooter/mobile apparatus may be accompanied by up to three (3) companions.
The Box Office does not sell tickets over the phone, HOWEVER, PRIOR TO PURCHASE, it is recommended calling the Fair Box Office to discuss accessible accommodations. Call 610-433-7541.
Tickets for individuals with disabilities may be purchased in several ways.
Accommodation seating is reserved for the exclusive use of individuals with disabilities and their guests and the purchase or use of these seating locations by non-disabled individuals is strictly prohibited and can result in ejection and/or forfeiture of ticket cost.
When a patron has purchased a ticket to accessible seating and then transfers that ticket to an individual who does not require accessible seating, the Great Allentown Fair reserves the right to move that individual and his or her companions to the closest available or comparable non-accessible seating.
Wheelchairs are not permitted in the pit or floor sections of the venue.
The only animals allowed on grounds are those that align with the ADA's service animal classification for animals specifically trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and are therefore not allowed on grounds during the Fair.
Day of Show Accessible Patrons
Patrons who had purchased non-accessible seating and are now in need of accessible seating at the time of an event will be directed to the Box Office for the availability of such seating, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Accessible parking is available on the Allentown Fairgrounds on a first-come, first-serve basis for $10. Parking lot entrance is located at Gate 7 off of Liberty Street. Just inform the gate captain that you need accessible parking. He will direct you from there. To guarantee a spot on the grounds, Prepaid Premium Parking is available for $30 for each grandstand show. Click here.
Age Requirements for Tickets
A child who has reached his/her second birthday requires a ticket for admission to any Grandstand show unless specified otherwise. However, a child under age 2 may not occupy a seat and must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. If parent or guardian is non-compliant, a venue representative will escort the parent/guardian and child out of the venue.
