Grandstand Show Venue Policies & Procedures

Weather/Show Postponement or Cancellation

All events are RAIN OR SHINE! In the unlikely event of a show postponement or cancellation due to the headliner's inability to perform, information will be provided regarding procedures as soon as it becomes available. Once the show starts, no weather-related interruption or abbreviation constitutes a postponement or cancellation. Secondary Ticket Market

Consumer Warning:

The Great Allentown fair uses bar code scanning for Grandstand ticket admissions. As a result, fans should be careful when purchasing tickets and make certain the seller is a Great Allentown Fair licensed ticketing agent.

TICKETMASTER is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of the Allentown Fair Box Office. If you purchase tickets from an unauthorized agent in the secondary ticket market (scalper, ticket broker, eBay, Stub Hub, Craigslist, etc.) you risk purchasing counterfeit or invalid tickets which may result in refusal of admission. The Allentown Fair is not responsible for any tickets purchased through any ticket broker.

Accessible Seating

The Great Allentown Fair is committed to providing accessible seating opportunities to all patrons. For this reason, it provides the opportunity to purchase tickets for accessible seating through the same means and under the same terms and conditions as other tickets sold for all events. However, designated accessible seating is limited. It is advised, therefore, that requests for accessible seating be made in advance. Each accessible patron with a wheelchair/scooter/mobile apparatus may be accompanied by up to three (3) companions.

The Box Office does not sell tickets over the phone, HOWEVER, PRIOR TO PURCHASE, it is recommended calling the Fair Box Office to discuss accessible accommodations. Call 610-433-7541.

Tickets for individuals with disabilities may be purchased in several ways.

Accommodation seating is reserved for the exclusive use of individuals with disabilities and their guests and the purchase or use of these seating locations by non-disabled individuals is strictly prohibited and can result in ejection and/or forfeiture of ticket cost.

When a patron has purchased a ticket to accessible seating and then transfers that ticket to an individual who does not require accessible seating, the Great Allentown Fair reserves the right to move that individual and his or her companions to the closest available or comparable non-accessible seating.

Wheelchairs are not permitted in the pit or floor sections of the venue.

The only animals allowed on grounds are those that align with the ADA's service animal classification for animals specifically trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and are therefore not allowed on grounds during the Fair.

Day of Show Accessible Patrons

Patrons who had purchased non-accessible seating and are now in need of accessible seating at the time of an event will be directed to the Box Office for the availability of such seating, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available on the Allentown Fairgrounds on a first-come, first-serve basis for $15. Parking lot entrance is located at Gate 7 off of Liberty Street. Just inform the gate captain that you need accessible parking. He will direct you from there. Age Requirements for Tickets

A child who has reached his/her second birthday requires a ticket for admission to any Grandstand show unless specified otherwise. However, a child under age 2 may not occupy a seat and must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. If parent or guardian is non-compliant, a venue representative will escort the parent/guardian and child out of the venue.
