The Great Allentown Fair respects the need to accommodate its patrons with disabilities. Our intention is that everyone can enjoy the fair. If you have any questions regarding disability services, accessibility, and accommodations, please contact us.
Accessible Grandstand Seating
The Great Allentown Fair is committed to providing accessible seating opportunities to all patrons. For this reason, we provide the opportunity to purchase tickets for accessible seating through the same means and under the same terms and conditions as other tickets sold for all events. However, designated accessible seating is limited. It is advised, therefore, that requests for accessible seating be made in advance. Each accessible patron with a wheelchair/scooter/mobile apparatus may be accompanied by up to three (3) companions.
Tickets for individuals with disabilities may be purchased in multiple ways:
- Online at Ticketmaster
- Fair Box Office CLICK HERE for hours
The Box Office does not sell tickets over the phone, however, prior to purchase, it is recommended calling to Fair Box Office (610-433-7541) to discuss accessible accommodations.
Seating accommodations are reserved for the exclusive use of individuals with disabilities and their guests. The purchase or use of these seating locations by non-disabled individuals is strictly prohibited and can result in ejection and/or forfeiture of ticket cost.
When a patron has purchased a ticket for accessible seating and then transfers that ticket to an individual who does not require accessible seating, The Great Allentown Fair reserves the right to move that individual and his or her companion(s) to the closest available or comparable non-accessible seating area.
Wheelchairs are not permitted in the pit or floor sections of the venue.
Accessible Seating Options Available on the Day of the Show
Patrons who purchased non-accessible seating and are now in need of accessible seating at the time of an event will be directed to the Box Office for the availability of such seating, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is available on the Allentown Fairgrounds on a first-come, first-serve basis for $15. Parking lot entrance is located at Gate 7 off of Liberty Street. Please inform the gate captain that you need accessible parking and you will be guided to the appropriate area.
Power-Driven Mobility Devices
The Great Allentown Fair recognizes that some individuals will use Power-Driven Mobility Devices based on personal need due to their disability. The fair respects the rights of individuals with disabilities and devices utilized to be mobile. The fair reserves the right to deny access based on the safety of our patrons. This is based on capacity of the grounds, high volume pedestrian traffic to include children and confined spaces where patrons travel throughout. *Please note that we do not rent wheelchairs or other mobility devices on our fairgrounds. We encourage guests to make their own arrangements for mobility assistance prior to their visit.
Service Animals
The only animals allowed on the fairgrounds are those that align with the ADA’s Service Animal classification for animals specifically trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Emotional Support Animals (ESA), animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support DO NOT QUALIFY as service animals under the ADA and are therefore NOT ALLOWED on the fairgrounds during the Fair. Security is trained to address and identify those dogs that are not service animals. You will not be permitted onto the grounds with your ESA or pet dog. This policy is for the safety of our guests as well as your furry companion.
All animals (cattle, sheep, pigs, etc.) at the fair are checked by the USDA and a veterinarian. Their living conditions are checked throughout the week to ensure that the animals are safe and treated properly.
